S.A.B.’s philosophy is simple – Succeed, Achieve, Believe.
In life and through education, we want you to learn constantly and always push to improve. S.A.B. wants to teach student athletes that it can be exciting to push the limits and to challenge themselves intellectually, so you can – “Be all that you can be”.
We live in a global world, and S.A.B. is a window to the international world.
We want to inspire our student athletes to live a tolerant, peaceful and progressive life. The interaction, competition in sports, and quality learning environment opportunities with their peers, from around the world, is our top priority.
As a former Pro Athlete and Coach, I have learned one can utilize experiences in sports and relate them to real life situations. We succeed when we are disciplined, open minded, and believe in hard work.
As Nelson Mandela has said: "Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world".
Founder
S.A.B. founder Sven Wehrmeyer, has more than 20 years of coaching and teaching experience. He is a coach and mentor, on every level for more than 500 players around the world. Sven graduated from Deutsche Sporthochschule Köln (German Sports University Cologne) and has a degree in Sports Management from Akademie der Deutschen Wirtschaft Köln (Academy of German Economics).
Coach “W” accomplishments include, former Pro Athlete, Athletic and Basketball Coach, Vice-President of the German Coaches Association NABC member (U.S. Coaches Association), Basketball Camp Coach (UC Irvine, Florida State University and Kobe Bryant Camp, Los Angeles).
Sven currently works as a Sports Director and Ethics Teacher at an International school, offering bilingual education in Berlin. He is fluent in German, English, Spanish and French.
